ABOUT US:
Bruce J. Short, D.C.
Dr. Bruce is the owner and founder of Recharge Sports Injury Center. He graduated from Life University School of Chiropractic in 1999, where he was a member the mens Division I soccer team. He has been practicing in Northern Virginia for 10 years. Dr. Bruce is known as one of the best chiropractors in the area for accurately diagnosing an injury and treating it quickly so that his patients can get back to what they enjoy most.
He has worked with a number of NFL Professional Football Players, including several Washington Redskins. He has also worked with competition body builders, olympic cyclists and runners, professional tennis athletes, and marathon runners. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just in need of quality care, Dr. Short will provide a treatment plan customized to your needs.

Doug Nagel, D.C.
Dr. Doug is originally from New York where he practiced Chiropractic medicine for 13 years. He relocated to Northern Virginia in 2001, opening a Sterling based Practice in 2002, later adding a second office in Arlington, VA in 2007. Dr. Doug specializes in the prevention and treatment of sports related injuries.
Dr. Doug believes in implementing various techniques to effectively treat his patients. He is Master Certified in Active Release Technique. He also will utilize Graston Techniques as well as Shockwave Therapy (E.P.A.T). Dr. Doug is a member of the Association for Care of Elite and Professional Athletes. Dr. Doug played Division I. Lacrosse at C.W. Post University in Long Island, NY. He also was once a nationally ranked Body Builder during his 15 years of competition.
We are very excited to have Dr. Doug as part of the Recharge Family. We welcome his over 20 years experience in treating sport related injuries. Dr. Doug currently works out of our Herndon Office and is available during regular office hours.
Lily Moezi, D.C.
Dr. Moezi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from George Mason University in 2002. She earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer Chiropractic College West in San Jose, California in 2005. She has worked as an associate doctor over the past 5 years in two successful practices and she is excited to be part of the Recharge Team. Dr. Lily Moezi specializes in spinal corrective care. The purpose of spinal corrective care is to correct malpositions of the spine and restore proper curves and alignment.
Carrie Dancesia, D.C.
Dr. Carrie Dancesia is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. She graduated in November of 2012 earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic and has been practicing in Virginia ever since. Dr. Carrie earned her bachelor’s degree in biology in 2009 from SUNY Oneonta located in upstate NY. She is originally from Binghamton, New York where she still has many friends and family members. Dr. Carrie specializes in myofascial release technique, Thompson Technique, various soft tissue techniques and a skilled adjuster. Dr. Carrie focuses on helping the patient feel better and get back to their daily lives more quickly.
Kyle Reeb, D.C.
Dr. Kyle Reeb was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Kyle received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the State University of Cortland in 2009. While he attended Cortland he was a member of the wrestling team. He is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College located in Seneca Falls, New York, the class of November 2012. With experience in college wrestling and also being an active runner, Dr. Kyle has the unique ability to relate to a multitude of athletic injuries. His treatment plan and goals are oriented towards eliminating pain as fast as possible and getting patients back to their highest level of function.

Bill Gary
Office Manager and multitasking mastermind, Bill wears many hats here at Recharge Sports Injury Center.
He is a Northern Virginia native and South Lakes Alumni having grown up just around the corner in Reston, VA. In 2002, Bill earned his B.A. in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University, Miami Florida. During the pursuit of his Bachelors Degree, Bill played NIAI Division I Soccer while also working Public Relations for an NBA Franchise.
In 2003, Bill returned to Northern Virginia roots, assuming the role of Operations Director for a local aquatics management company. In 2009, Bill switched gears once again, joining the Recharge Family. He feels like he has finally found a home and hasn’t looked back since.
